"My Fair Lady" was so good! Grandpa picked me up around 3:00 and we drove to South Jordan together. Grandpa and I have never really had much to talk about so the forty-five minute drive was kind of stressing me out a little. BUT. We talked the whole time and I really enjoyed his company. He told me stories about his mission and his college years, meeting grandma and about his family. It was nice. When we got there I felt this overwhelming feeling of relaxation. The only memories and feelings I have associated with Daybreak and the house on Clarks Hill are vacation ones, peace, relaxation, carefree fun. All my stress died the moment we pulled in. We hung out for a while and I chatted with Rebecka about her life and everything. She's thinking about going to UVU and getting a degree in ASL. She's a great girl, I am so proud of her for staying strong during her parents' divorce. She's gone through a lot. About 5:30 Aunt Julie, Grandma, Grandpa and I headed out! We went to dinner at the Cracker Barrel. Good food, cute waiter that kept checking me out, and funny company. I love being with them, despite all the craziness. Granted, I definitely couldn't hang out with them all the time.. it was still nice. We were sitting there, patiently waiting for our food (Grandma complaining loudly about the long wait. Holy goodness woman, shut up.) and I was looking at Grandma's rings. I asked if I could see one and she said "sure, have it." Uhh... wait wait wait nooooo wait!!! That's not what I was saying! Ah! Stop! But she forced me to take it. Oh I felt bad. It's a pretty sapphire with two fake diamonds. I went on acting bad for a little while before I paused, smiled, and said "I like your earrings too..." hahahha. I crack myself up. The show was really good even if they messed up our seats and were almost late. Grandma was super mad, oh the patient woman, bless her heart. *eye roll* But the show was great. Super cute. I miss theater.. After the show I did homework with Dad while he worked on his Aflac program until 1:30 or so in the morning. Of course, now I'm super crazy tired.
Alex gets his mission call today.
My holy crap.
