LIFE

Day Numero Uno

Yesterday I flew in at 7:30 and got to Provo around 8:30. The panic was high and the stress levels soaring. I checked in with the Wyview Office people {looking deceptively confident, my hands were shaking but no one could tell} and then broke into my room. With a key. These girls are so nice! Kyla and Kenzi. They're cool. :) I was just starting to unpack when little mister Alex called saying he was in Provo and could he come visit me. I am not one to turn down much of anything when it comes to Alex {there are exceptions, haha, don't worry} so I put my unpacking on hold and got to see the little punk once more. What a happy reunion it was! I had missed him so, so much and it was so nice to get to hug him and talk to him again. Love that kid. Then I went and visited Mitch! It was late so it was a short catch-up session but was awesome nonetheless. He's the best. Then I went home and didn't sleep. Ugh.

This morning I got up at 6:30 even though class wasn't until 9. I just couldn't lay there not doing anything! I had soooo much nervous energy. I felt like Hammy the Squirrel from Over the Hedge. {Andrew once told me that I look like that squirrel. Not even in joking. He was dead serious. I'm still horrified.} I took a little while to unpack, got ready in a rush, and then sped walked to school because I managed to talk myself out of spending five minutes on a bus and instead walk the 25 minutes to school. Idiot. I was on time to class though! Biology and then Calculus. I felt a little overwhelmed by the time I took the bus home {dragged myself onto it and found that it's way nice. I'm so taking it from now on.} and sat down to unpack the other five suitcases I had yet to tackle.

Everything's been pretty good today. I had a minor mental-financial crisis earlier in which I panicked over not having books or the money with which to buy them. But I got over it. All is well. Wyview is good and so are the two classes I've had so far.

Let's pray it stays that way. ;)
